Jack’s Pickin’ Parlor was founded in Novemer, 1999 by Jack Ellenburg
on the principle that there are no “Big I’s or “Little You’s, with everybody being somebody at the Pickin’ Parlor whether you come to listen or to pick.

The Pickin’ Parlor welcomes musicians of all skill levels, both young and old.

Since it’s inception, hundreds of pickers from all parts of the country have come through the doors of The Pickin’ Parlor.

Over the years, Jack’s Pickin’ Parlor has garnered the well deserved
reputation as the “place to pick and hear great bluegrass music”.

It has often been said, “if you don’t have fun at The Pickin’ Parlor,
then it’s your own fault”.

By Many that frequent The Pickin’ Parlor, it has often been said to be the “8th wonder of the the world” when it comes to bluegrass music.
